I am available to work with you face to face or online via Whereby which is a secure video conferencing platform.

Cost/Fees

Therapy sessions are usually weekly and last 50 minutes. I can see clients more frequently if required. I can also offer on line sessions if required.

Sessions generally take place at the same time and day each week. The number of sessions depends on the issue you bring to therapy. Usually an initial 6 sessions is recommended with ongoing therapy to be discussed between us at that point.

Current fees are £45 per session.

Fees are payable either in cash, by card or by BACS transfer on the day of the appointment.

Cancellations within a calendar week of an appointment will be charged at the full rate. Outside of this there will be no charge.

I do not charge for the initial assessment meeting.

Low Cost Counselling

I also have a limited number of low-cost spaces. I am happy to discuss lower fees if:

  • You are a Carer

  • You are in receipt of Government Benefit

  • You are a Student

Current evidence of any of the above will be required.

The First Session

I spend ten to fifteen minutes in a brief telephone call initially. This is in order to take some personal details and to find out what it is that you are hoping to gain from Counselling. I then arrange an initial session lasting 50 minutes which is to enable you to ask questions and to tell me more of what you are struggling with. I can also tell you a bit more about how I work. It is a good opportunity for you to ask any questions and you can decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

The initial call and introductory session are free of charge.
