Some years ago I was standing in my Kitchen on a dark morning making tea. I looked out of the window and it was completely dark outside. All I could see was a light from a window in the distance. I thought ‘That’s what I want to be – a light in someone else’ darkness’. This was my inspiration to train as a therapist.

Light provides comfort in a dark place and also guides us when we are lost or cannot see our way forward. Light is also a symbol of hope and gives us something to aim for.

In my client work I have seen people change and become the people that they want to be. I really believe that change is possible in your life if you want it. I also believe in an individuals right to choose their own path.

I am approachable, friendly and I will not judge you – who you are is OK with me. I am calm, empathic, creative and I am very down to earth and I put things across in a simple way without using jargon or complicated theory. I will understand you and see things from your perspective.

I work with Adults 18+ and I offer short and long term counselling, both day and evening appointments. I can offer appointments face to face or online if you prefer.
